Robin's slide and steel guitar work blends in arrangements with the horns, creating a sound that is both unique and steeped in the traditions of blues and jazz. His repertoire is rich in American style presenting, and sometimes mixing, the rural blues of Mississippi, the swing of the 1940s and contemporary funk.
