Calavo Gardens, CA — A fire of unknown origin gutted a travel trailer parked behind a home Wednesday near Mount Helix, authorities reported.
The non-injury blaze in the 11000 block of Fuerte Drive in the unincorporated Calavo Gardens area erupted about 12:30 p.m., according to Cal Fire.
It took crews about 30 minutes to extinguish the flames, which destroyed the roughly 30-foot trailer, said Kendal Bortisser, a fire captain with the state agency.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
