Motorcyclist Leads Cops On High-Speed Chase On Area Highways, City streets
The man was eventually arrested near Imperial Avenue.

SAN DIEGO, CA - A speeding motorcyclist led California Highway Patrol officers on a pursuit along San Diego freeways and through neighborhoods before being arrested early today in the Mountain View area.
Officers attempted to pull over the Yamaha motorcycle for exceeding speeds of 100 miles per hour on westbound state Route 94 approaching Interstate 805 around 1:40 a.m., but the rider failed to yield, according to the CHP.
The rider continued west then headed south on state Route 15. The rider exited onto Market Street and the chase continued through city streets, authorities said.

A San Diego police helicopter joined in the chase shortly afterward, and the rider was tracked down and arrested in the 4000 block of Messina Drive near Imperial Avenue, according to the CHP. The rider's name was not immediately
available.
