Police Search For Robbery Suspect In La Mesa

LA MESA, CA – Police are searching for a robbery suspect Friday afternoon in La Mesa. The suspect is believed to be armed with a handgun, police said.

A helicopter is assisting the La Mesa Police Department in the search in the area of the 8800 block of Grossmont Bolevard, according to police.

The suspect is described as a 30- to 40-year-old black man about 5 feet 8 inches tall. He is wearing a maroon hoodie and blue jeans.
