Power Outage Hits Rolando, Neighboring Communities
Thousands were without electricity Wednesday morning.

SAN DIEGO, CA: A power outage temporarily left more than 2,600 Mid-City area homes and businesses in the dark Wednesday morning.
The outage began shortly after 7:30 a.m. and affected parts of the Rolando, College, City Heights, Chollas Creek, Oak Park, Kensington and Talmadge neighborhoods, according to San Diego Gas & Electric.
Crews later restored service to 2,665 affected utility customers, according to SDG&E, which was looking into the cause of the outage.
