Solo Freeway Crash Leaves 1 Dead, 2 Others Injured
The car crashed on state Route 94 near Monte Vista High School.
CASA DE ORO, CA – One person was killed and two others injured Monday when the car they were in crashed on state Route 94 near Monte Vista High School.
The sedan was headed east when it veered into a center divider and overturned in the area of Sweetwater Springs Boulevard in Casa de Oro shortly before 2 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
No other vehicles were believed to have been involved in the crash, CHP public affairs Officer Mary Bailey said.

The crash left one eastbound lane closed in the area into the late afternoon.
