Where To Vote, Drop Off Your Ballot In Lamorinda

Voting in the Newsom recall election? Here's where you can drop off your ballot or vote in person.

LAMORINDA, CA — Ballots for the recall election targeting Gov. Gavin Newsom have been sent to Lamorinda voters and votes are starting to trickle in.

Election Day isn't until Sept. 14 but early voting options are available.

There were 706,000 people registered to vote in Contra Costa as of Thursday.

Still haven't registered to vote? You can do so here. If you need to register after Aug. 30, you'll have to visit an early voting site in Contra Costa, the Elections Division office in Martinez or an Election Day polling place.

Voters have already received information guides. Anyone who does not receive a ballot by Aug. 30 should call 925-335-7800.

Ballot Drop Boxes

You can always drop your ballots in the mailbox, but there are plenty of ballot drop boxes throughout the county you feel more comfortable using one.

Early Voting

Early voting polling places are open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 10, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 11 and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 13.

Election Day

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. Enter your address to find the polling place nearest to you.
