City of Orinda Wilder Artificial Turf Fields Now Closed

The Parks and Recreation Department continue to receive calls about the sports fields at Wilder Park. Despite our best efforts to keep the fields open for the Orinda community, there are still groups of individuals not adhering to the Contra Costa Health Services order. In order abide by the County’s order and put the safety of our residents first, the City has decided to close artificial turf fields at Wilder, Fields 1, 2, and 4 until the order has been lifted.

Since staff are not on site, the department relies on the community to contact Orinda Police if guidelines are not being followed. If you or your neighbors observe groups on Wilder Fields 1, 2, and 4, please contact Orinda PD at 925-646-2441.
