FunFest 2012 - Now Rockin' at the Rheem!

Originally dubbed “FunFest 2012”, the Rockin’ at the Rheem concert will be a fantastic evening with complimentary hors d’oeurves and desserts and really great music (dancing optional!)all for just $35. Wine and beer will be available for purchase.  Tickets are available for purchase at www.MoragaFunFest.com or at the door.  The live band phenomenon includes an acoustic performance by Jay Whitlatch of Aspect, edgy and eclectic sounds from Dream Posse’s Kiki Stack & Friends (www.dreamposse.com) and local rockers Juice, who have played throughout the Bay Area including one of Lamorinda’s favorite watering holes, The Round Up Saloon (www.juicemusic.org).   Funds raised will help The New Rheem theatre purchase the digital projectors they need to continue showing blockbuster films.

The major movie studios have mandated that all theatres in the U.S. purchase these new projectors in order to continue showing new films and this has been a challenge for independently-owned and operated theatres like The New Rheem Theatre.

The New Rheem Theatre is one of a handful of independently owned theatres in the Bay Area and is home to the California Independent Film Festival.
