The Diablo Women’s Chorale presents a vocal jazz workshop with renowned jazz composer, arranger, and clinician Kirby Shaw on Saturday, April 23rd at the Lafayette Public Library, Community Hall, 3491 Mt. Diablo Blvd, Lafayette. Two sessions will be offered: 9 to noon, and 1 to 4 p.m.
The morning session will address jazz choral music. The afternoon clinic will cover solo jazz styles and practice designed to elicit more expressive, soulful singing.
