Come enjoy Lafayette’s sixth annual Earth Day Picnic & Celebration From 11:30am to 1:30pm, the downtown Plaza Park will again feature live music and a community “Picnic on the Green” with an organic lunch including dessert for only $5. After lunch, visit with local environmental groups and tour the “Backyard of Tomorrow” along Plaza Way. To begin the day, Stanley Middle School will be the site of the Bike Safety Rodeo from 9am – 11:30am, concluding with a Self-Propelled Parade up to Plaza Park.
