This free event celebrates the Wagner Ranch Nature Area's heritage olive grove, planted by California's first Surveyor General—Theodore Wagner in the 1880s. Olive trees are symbols of peace and prosperity, providing a perfect theme for the days festivities of games, olive-tastings and yummy food, tree-planting, music and art, cooking demonstrations, and living history skits. Educational activities at the site, which is owned by the Orinda Union School District, will appeal to the entire community
