Please join fellow parents at the POISE (Parents of Orinda Individuals in Special Education) meeting at Orinda Books on Thursday, February 3 from 7pm-9pm to hear Dr. Christine Duis speak about social and emotional intelligence of children. Learn some practical tips to help you develop empathy and understanding allowing you to better support your child at home. The event is geared toward adults and is free. The speaker begins at 7:30 after a 30 minute social.
