The Saint Mary's College Hearst Art Gallery will hold a tamale making workshop as part of the exhibition Gift of the Gods: Exploring Maize, Culture and Indigenous Art in the Americas. The exhibition features ceremonial and utilitarian objects from the indigenous peoples of Mesoamerica. This interactive workshop will teach participants the ancient art of making tamales derived from the indigenous populations of Mesoamerica.
