Saint Mary's College will provide a screening of "Crime Buster: A Son's Search for his Father," a new film which tells the story of Louis Dematteis. Dematteis was the first Italian-American to become district attorney in the Bay Area, a very influential man in the Italian-American community. There will be a Q&A with the filmmaker and son of Louis Dematteis, Lou Dematteis. This event is sponsored by the departments of History, Sociology, Ethnic Studies, and Modern Languages and the Dante Club.
