Gift of The Gods; Exploring Maize What: The Hearst Art Gallery present: Gift of the Gods: Exploring Maize, Culture and Indigenous Art In The Americas The sacredness and life-sustaining force of maize to indigenous peoples of Mesoamerica, the U.S. Southwest and the Northern Andes is illustrated with ceremonial and utilitarian objects, maps, photographs, drawings, recipes, and video.
