The Stratford will host a Spirit of '45 benefit in remembrance of the end of World War II. Our Spirit of ’45 event is an effort to preserve the legacy of the men and women of our Nations Greatest Generation. Their example of courage, self-sacrifice, “can-do” attitude, and commitment to community, will help inspire a renewal of national unity in America at a time when our country once again must come together to meet historic challenges. Our efforts will benefit the American Red Cross, an exemplary American organization dedicated to humanitarian care, emergency response, support and comfort for military members and their families, as well as collection and distribution of lifesaving blood and blood products, educational programs, health and safety and international relief and development programs.
Event will include a Big Band Dinner Dance featuring Tradewinds 14-piece ensemble, Historical Exhibits by the Historical Society, and an American Hero’s Presentation.
