Great result for Acalanes Girls Water Polo team against Northgate in first league games.
Varsity girls win 13-7 over Northgate last Friday at Acalanes. The leading shooter was Hannah Kresnak with 5 goals, seniors Riley Fellner and Chase Lanier each added 3 and Sophomore Emma Myall scored 2, with one of those a 5-meter shot. Senior Ellyn Stewart had 5 steals and Emma Myall added 5 assists.Goalies Lucy Fellner and Whitney Hickock did an incredible job guarding the cage with 3 saves apiece. And also getting play time were Emma Gaffney, who had two shots on goal, Brooke Asterlind, Julia Mes and Mija Pritchard. This was a great start to the Girls Water Polo season!
