New Special Needs Dance/Creative Movement Classes

The Friend Tree is starting a new Creative Movement/Dance class at the Lafayette Community Center next week.

The Class is a 3-week trial class being offered at the Lafayette Community Center and will run on 10/8, 10/15 & 10/22. The class is open to 8 spots, with a 2/1 child/Adult Volunteer ratio. The Class will be taught by Melissa Petrini, a former dance teacher/program Director with 15 years+ dance experience in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, creative movement, hip-hop, and lyrical/interpretive dance. The class will be also be  supported in collaboration with Wellspring Educational Services, two ABA Autism trained Facilitators and one to two teenage volunteers who will participate in the class. 

Specifics:
When: Tuesdays 4:00pm-5:00pm on (10/8, 10/15 & 10/22)
Where: The Lafayette Community Center, Elderberry room
Cost: $15 per class, parents are welcomed to stay and even join in for free.
How: Register by calling the Lafayette Community Center to reserve your spot at (925)284-2232 and ask to reserve your spot for the Special Needs Dance Class.
Limit: 3-8 children, ages 9-15 years
