Pedestrian Killed In Lamorinda On Highway 24
Three lanes were closed for the investigation. All have reopened.

LAMORINDA, CA — A female pedestrian was killed on Highway 24 in Lafayette this morning, forcing the closure of three eastbound lanes. Her identity has not been released. The lanes have since reopened.
The collision was reported at 11:05 a.m. near the on-ramp to eastbound Highway 24 from Pleasant Hill Road.
The sig alert was in effect from approximately 11:30 - 1 p.m.

There were two more crashes on Highway 24 this afternoon. A three vehicle crash just west of Moraga at 1:20 involved a Tesla, a Mercedes and a Hyundai. Then, at 1:35, a two vehicle crash involved a Chevy truck and a Hyundai. There were no injuries in either crash.
This has been a rough day on East Bay roads. I-80 was closed for hours.
