LAMORINDA, CA — You can expect to see smoke, possibly this Saturday, in Moraga.

The Moraga-Orinda Fire District and John Muir Land Trust will conduct a prescribed burn on the Painted Rock property in Moraga. The window for the burn opens this Saturday, June 29. The exact day will depend on favorable weather conditions.

The Fire District crew will burn excessive amounts of brush and shrubs, reducing the risk of future wildfires.
