Secretary Of State: Nearly 85% Of Eligible Californians Registered For 2020 Presidential Election

CALIFORNIA (CBS SF) – As the voter registration deadline approaches for the presidential election in November, the California Secretary of State’s office found more than eight out of 10 Californians who are eligible to vote are registered.
Secretary of State Alex Padilla said according to the latest voter registration report, 84.68 percent of eligible Californians are registered, the highest percentage heading into a General Election in the past 68 years.
