Seven Chamber Mixer Proceeds To Benefit Troops
Five dollars will get you into the Lafayette Veterans Hall Wednesday for a taste of local cuisine and networking with the members of seven local chambers. Your money goes to provide care and support packages for the troops.
The Walnut Creek, , , Pleasant Hill, Greater Concord, , and Hispanic Chambers of Commerce will hold a Seven-Chamber Mixer at the , 3780 Mt. Diablo Blvd., on Wednesday, July 11.
Each chamber will be hosting a food sample table, staffed by a restaurant from their respective city, at the mixer. Guests are invited to journey from table to table to sample the best cuisine in the area. Orinda's will be on hand to represent Orinda, the will show what Moraga chefs can do and the folks from and Fraiche Catering will be representing Lafayette.

And as if the food wasn't enough of a draw, chamber representatives said the proceeds from the day will be donated to a veterans group sending care packages to men and women deployed overseas.

When: July 11, 2012 / Time: 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Where: Lafayette Events Center (Lafayette Veterans Hall), 3780 Mt. Diablo Blvd. in Lafayette
Cost: $5.00 – All donations to be given to the Lafayette Veterans Hall to use in Troop Care Packages
Raffle: All members are encourage to bring items for the raffle. Your business will be recognized during the drawings. All proceeds will go to the Vets. Bring your item(s) to the Event Center and leave them with the Ambassadors staffing the “raffle” table at the front entrance.
Note: Each Chamber will have their own "Welcome" desk to collect Member and Non-Member business cards and entrance fee. Please go to the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce table that will designated with a sign. Parking: Some onsite parking. Additional parking at the upper parking lot at Temple Isaiah with a shuttle bus to bring guests down to the facility. Carpooling is encouraged.
