Larkspur Library’s Music History Series: Richie Unterberger Presents Rare Rock Clips from 1967
In commemoration of the Summer of Love, Richie Unterberger will present two hours of rare rock film clips of some of the greatest musicians of the era. All the clips will be from 1967 (or just before or after that year). Included will be footage of Jefferson Airplane; the Grateful Dead; Big Brother & the Holding Company, with Janis Joplin; Pink Floyd, with Syd Barrett; the Beatles; the Rolling Stones; the Doors; Donovan; Jimi Hendrix; Sly & the Family Stone; Simon & Garfunkel; the Move; the Rascals; and numerous other celebrated (and less celebrated) icons of the psychedelic age.
