Special Promotion to Benefit Bread & Roses at MAX'S CAFÉ IN CORTE MADERA Sat. Feb. 18 from 7-10 pm. The promotion will run ONE SATURDAY EACH MONTH FROM 7 TO 10 PM. Successive dates include Sat. March 10, April 14 and May 12. Students from Redwood High School will perform on Feb. 18 with emcee Ali MacMillan hosting. Each night a different school from the local districts will perform.
Bread & Roses will receive ten percent of the food/drink that is sold on each evening in addition to the proceeds from a special donations box at the front of the stage. Funds raised will help support its ongoing program of bringing hope and healing through live music to audiences isolated in Bay Area institutions.
Diners will benefit Bread & Roses by enjoying Max's traditional American food featuring a wide variety of dishes from prime rib to delicious chicken matzoh ball soup. The restaurant is located at 60 Madera Blvd. in Corte Madera. Phone: 415 924-6297.
