Ray Simpson Big Band Plays at Piccolo Pavilion

Enjoy big-band favorites from the 30s, 40s, and 50s played by the 17-piece Ray Simpson Band at this Sunday's free concert sponsored by the Corte Madera Community Foundation at Piccolo Pavilion.  From swing to jazz, this popular band features arrangements created by Count Basie, Les Brown, Jimmy Lunceford, Duke Ellington, Stan Kenton, and Glenn Miller.  Bring a blanket or a camp chair for sitting on the grass, and wrap up your weekend with some really fine music in the little park at the bottom of the hill.
