TWEEN MARDI GRAS MASKS & CROWNS WORKSHOP

 Where/When: Paper Source, , Thursday, 6:30-8pm

 Why Go: Because it's almost time for Mardi Gras. Begin with a colorful kit and add chunky glitter, micro beads, feathers. It's all there.  Get your flair on and you'll be ready to party (even if it's in your own kitchen). For adults and kids ages 9 and up.

WILLY WONKA AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY   

 Where/When , 59 Magnolia Ave., Larkspur, Saturday, 10:30am-1pm

 Why Go: It’s Family Day at the Movies and who doesn’t love the original Willy Wonka?  Grab the kids and get there early for the entertainment, face painting and complimentary popcorn Oh. and it’s all for a good cause.  Bonus points.

 Pricing: $65 for a family of four, $20 adult, $15 child

CAMP NIGHT

 Where/When: Strawberry Recreation District, 118 East Strawberry Drive, Mill Valley, Thursday, 5:30-8pm

 Why Go: Looking for a summer camp for the kids?  Here’s a great opportunity to check out and get info from over 70 camps. Parents and future campers can come and explore their options, jump in the jumphouse and maybe bring home a door prize.

FREE DAY AT THE BAY AREA DISCOVERY MUSEUM

 Where/When: 557 McReynolds Rd., Fort Baker, Sausalito, Wednesday 9am-4pm

 Why Go: The first Wednesday of each month is free and a fun opportunity for you and the kids to get out and play. So much to do, it could be an all day affair.

MARIN TEEN GIRL CONFERENCE

 Where/When: Embassy Suites, 101 McIinnis Parkway, San Rafael, Saturday 8:30am-4pm

 Why Go: If you have a middle school or high school daughter, this all day conference  might be the empowering they need. Workshops run the gamut from self esteem & body image to dealing with stress & communication.
