• Larkspur pursues alternative to Piper Park marsh project (marinij.com) — Larkspur officials are shifting course on how to meet environmental mitigation requirements tied to the Bon Air Bridge replacement, after discovering the former Piper Park dog park sits atop an old landfill. The city plans to reserve costly wetland mitigation credits at Halo Ranch in Petaluma, largely reimbursable by federal funds, while leaving future decisions about restoring the Piper Park marsh to a separate community process.
