• Marin movie theaters to pay tribute to Parton, Curry (pressdemocrat.com) — Larkspur film fans can catch Dolly Parton tributes at the Lark Theater, with "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" playing Tuesday and "Steel Magnolias" on September 10 at multiple showtimes. Tickets range from $7 to $14, and Tiburon's Cinelounge is also running special screenings honoring Parton and Tim Curry throughout the long weekend.
