Girls Basketball: Two Games in Two Days Too Much For Redwood
Branson responds better to back-to-back games en route to the MCAL victory; Ariella Rosenthal leads the Giants with eight points.

GAME SUMMARY: The Redwood girls basketball team had its two-game Marin County Athletic League winning streak come to an end on Tuesday night, losing at home to Branson, 48-30.

Both the Giants and Bulls played (and lost) non-conference games in the MLK Classic on Monday, but it was the visitors who seemed to show the least effects of the back-to-back scheduling.
Redwood managed to score only four points in the first quarter, and trailed 24-13 at the half.

Branson matched its own second-quarter output of 15 with another 15 in the third, which was more than enough to secure the comfortable win.
Freshman led Redwood with eight points (including 4-for-4 from the free throw line). Junior added five in the losing cause for the Giants.
