Andaz San Diego’s Salon Series to Debate the Music Industry’s Challenging Copyright Infringement Controversy on May 18

Andaz San Diego’s next digital music forum, All Rights Reserved, is set to tackle one of the music industry’s hottest topics: copyright infringement. Taking place Saturday, May 18 at 8 p.m. in the hotel’s Ivy Nightclub, All Rights Reserved will delve into this increasingly problematic issue within the electronic music industry as a panel of Southern California’s top DJs—who straddle both sides of the law to create their popular sets—present their perspectives on the matter. This event will be the latest installment of Andaz San Diego’s bi-monthly digital music forum series.

The All Rights Reserved panel will feature Los Angeles-based DJ Catalyst of DJ Catalyst Events Group, and San Diego DJs Craig Smoove, Kaotik, Este and Johnny Rayburn (courtesy of entertainment provider DJ Here Productions).

The All Rights Reserved event arrives just as pop artist and producer Will.I.Am, who has collaborated with the likes of everyone from Justin Timberlake to U2, is in the throes of fighting an accusation of musical fraud on the track “Let’s Go” featuring fellow pop artist Chris Brown.
