LIVERMORE, CA — Two suspects have been arrested in connection with two Livermore pharmacy robberies on Monday, police officials said. According to police, the first robbery was reported inside a pharmacy on Murrieta Boulevard at about 10:45 a.m. Police said the male suspect entered the pharmacy and brandished a handgun while demanding narcotics. The suspect fled the store.

Just about an hour later, a second pharmacy on N. Vasco Road reported a similar robbery, which prompted police to place Croce Elementary School on a precautionary lockdown while they searched for the suspects. Officers found a suspect vehicle nearby and after conducting a traffic stop, they arrested the two occupants in connection with the robberies.

Police are not releasing any additional information as the investigation is ongoing.
