2017 YIBI Thanksgiving Concert at Lytton Gardens
YIBI is an international organization devoted to providing youth with an experience of business participation in the real world
In celebration of Thanksgiving and appreciation for seniors in the community, students from the nonprofit organization Youth International Business Initiative (YIBI) hosted a Thanksgiving concert at Lytton Gardens Senior Center, in the heart of Palo Alto, CA on November 18, 2017.
The concert showcased both musical and arts talent of the students. Acts consisted of multiple instrumental solos, a choir production, rhythmic tongue twisters, and a magic show performance. Student volunteers took to instruments such as the piano, flute, and violin to show their talents and create an entertaining performance for the audience. The culmination of the show featured a ballet dance which was showered with applause and brought the show to a warm close. In the season of gratitude and thankfulness, both seniors and student volunteers enjoyed a meaningful experience in tune with the Thanksgiving tradition.
