BSA Troop 999 Sells Trees At Downtown Location One Last Time
Christmas trees sold by BSA Troop 999 have been for sale on the corner of Railroad Avenue and North "L" Street for more than 20 years.

As the City of Livermore moves forward with its plans to bring a new hotel and additional improvements to its downtown, the vacant lot located at the southwest corner at Railroad Avenue and North “L” Street will soon be part of the development. This location has served as BSA Troop 999’s Christmas tree lot for over 20 years.
“It has been an ideal spot for maximum visibility and traffic,” shares BSA Troop 999 Scoutmaster Robert Nuddleman. “Although we’re disappointed to see this location in our Troop’s history come to a close, we look forward to finding a new location where the scouts can continue to build their skills and earn money for their scouting activities.”
The current landowners at Railroad Avenue and North “L” Street have been supporting Troop 999 by granting permission to use this highly coveted spot free of charge. Adult supervisors from BSA Troop 999 have coordinated details each year with the owners and are grateful for their generous support of the Troop.
