El Pollo Loco Opens in Livermore
The fast food eatery is hiring for its Tri-Valley locations.
LIVERMORE, CA — A popular fast food eatery known for its fire-grilled chicken entrees opened in Livermore on Labor Day. El Pollo Loco celebrated its grand opening and its first Livermore location Monday morning.
"We are excited to continue expanding in the state of California and offer another conveniently located destination for individuals and families to enjoy our handcrafted dishes,” said Steve Sather, Chief Executive Officer at El Pollo Loco said in a statement. “Our citrus-marinated, fire-grilled chicken is a crowd pleaser and we look forward to sharing our healthful chicken meals and delicious Mexican-inspired entrees with the Livermore community.”
The 2,840 square foot restaurant has seating for 68 guests. El Pollo Loco recently opened another Tri-Valley location in Dublin. The El Segundo-based company is currently hiring for its Livermore and other East Bay restaurants, according to the El Pollo Loco website. Click here for employment openings.

El Pollo Loco is one of several fast food restaurants opening in the Tri-Valley. A new Habit Burger Grill will soon open in Livermore. The burger eatery will be located in the 2000 block of Portola Avenue and will share the same shopping center as the newly opened Rubio’s Coastal Grill. In nearby Pleasanton, the first Chick-fil-A restaurant, known for its chicken, fresh lemonade and waffle fries, will also open in Tri-Valley later this year.
