Escaped Inmate Spotted In Livermore, Sheriff’s Office Says
BREAKING: Officials are asking for the public's help tracking down the duo who walked away from a minimum-security prison camp in Dublin.
LIVERMORE, CA —One of two escaped inmates who walked away from a minimum-security prison camp in Dublin on Monday evening was spotted in rural Livermore on Wednesday, Alameda County Sheriff’s Officials said. Irene Alina Mitchell, 37, who remains at large, was serving 110 months in prison and her criminal record includes theft, assault, fraud and identity theft in Montana and Washington. Officials said she was seen in the area of Manning and N. Livermore roads.
On Monday at about 7:15 p.m., Mitchell and Anna Armstrong, 34, walked away from the minimum-security Federal Correctional Institution at 5701 Eighth St. in Dublin, officials said. Both were serving long sentences for federal narcotics charges. Municipal, state and the U.S. Marshals Service are searching for the duo.
Mitchell is a Native American woman, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, 180 pounds with long, brown hair and brown eyes. She has a unique tattoo on her neck that says "Adan."

Armstrong is described as a white woman, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, 175 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. She's serving 63 months in prison. Officials believe Armstrong has ties to Lancaster in Los Angeles County and Yuma, Arizona.

Officials ask anyone who sees either Mitchell or Armstrong is asked to call 911 or the U.S. Marshals Service at (877) 926-8332. Tips can also be submitted anonymously online at www.northerncaliforniamostwanted.org.
