Families Belong Together Immigration Forum In Livermore

Residents from all over Tri-Valley are invited to attend.

LIVERMORE, CA — Just weeks after thousands of people attended hundreds of ‘Families Belong Together’ rallies held across the country, including several in the Tri-Valley area, organizers are holding an immigration forum in Tri-Valley.

The event, which is hosted by the Livermore Indivisible Immigration Group and OFA East Bay Central Chapter, and co-sponsored by La Familia and St Charles Catholic Church Social Concerns, will be held at the St. Charles Catholic Church in Livermore from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on July 29.

The panel of speakers will include: Political Director Lourdes Martinez, Mujeres Unidas y Activas (MUA), Anne Carrabino, co-founder and lead consultant of the East Oakland Youth Alliance, Guadalupe Barratino, La Familia y Cultera y Bienestar, and Lilia Lara, a volunteer for the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children.
