Follow-up RE: Missing Mail-In Ballots Reportedly "Withheld" By L'more Post Office

Livermore now has an unofficial neighborhood whistleblower. I just completed an interview, on-camera, with the Consumer Watch crew from CBS-TV San Francisco affiliate KPIX (Channel 5). The topic of our conversation is Livermore's "missing" share of 400,000 mail-in ballots that the Alameda County Registrar Of Voters released to the U.S. Postal Service for distribution early last week.
It is clear from more than 80 posts to the Sunset West "Nextdoor" app that something might have gone awry with ballots that were supposed to have been delivered by the Livermore Post Office. Some residents have received ballots while most have not. Many multiple-voter households have received a ballot for one spouse, for example, and not the other — usually across party lines.
An employee at the Livermore Post Office admitted Friday that "a decision was made" to deliver all the accumulated "paid" partisan political marketing collateral (i.e., "junk mail") and to *withhold* the ballots for distribution "a little at a time, over the next two weeks." According to the same Post Office employee, carriers have complained about being "overburdened" with election materials, resulting in this illogical compromise — if that is really what this sequestering of ballots really is.

All this cloak-and-dagger reeks — at least of incompetence, secrecy, and poor judgment — if not something more sinister. It begs the ubiquitous question: "Is this election rigged?" I'll bet that our shining a light on the Livermore Postmaster will guarantee that all the "withheld" ballots will be safe and sound in our mailboxes within the next couple of days.
The Consumer Watch segment "might" air tonight (Monday) at 6:00 P.M. (KPIX channel 5).
