Granada High Grad Gets Free Dream Wedding
The former Marine met her husband while both were serving. They won a contest just for veterans.

Former Livermore resident and Granada High grad Jenna Baker met her husband in the Marine Corps. She and Jonathan got married before a Justice of the Peace years ago, but their family wasn’t able to attend. They always dreamed of having a traditional wedding for their families, but it never materialized.
Until now.
Jenna heard about a dream wedding contest for veterans and submitted a video entry. She won the grand prize.

So at sunset on Veterans Day in Phoenix, Jenna and Jonathan finally got their beautiful wedding. Mom Gwen Smith Winkler was thrilled to attend the event, “Jenna, my daughter you know a Marine for eight years and went to Afghanistan and served. Now she gets to have this beautiful wedding that she never got to get, and it’s just incredible.”
Jenna’s beautiful gown, wedding ring, photography, the venue and food--everything was free to the couple. The value was somewhere between $20,000 and $25,000.
