The crash took place Sunday afternoon on Mines Road just south of Tesla Road, according to a tweet from the California Highway Patrol Dublin Area. Photos released by CHP show a Toyota SUV with a severely damaged front, and numerous items spilling out of an open trunk.
CHP alleges that suspects tried to flee in a stolen vehicle, but a joint effort with the Livermore Police Department and the Regional Parks Police Department helped apprehend them.
