Livermore Crime Roundup: E-Bike Wheelies, Fentanyl Bust
Livermore police reported arrests involving a fleeing motorbike rider and fentanyl packaged for sale.
LIVERMORE, CA — Livermore officers arrested a 19-year-old electric motorbike rider and a 46-year-old man accused of possessing methamphetamine and fentanyl.
On March 10, officers conducted a traffic stop near Coleen Street and Judith Way. During a search of the vehicle, officers say they located a methamphetamine pipe and approximately a half-ounce of fentanyl packaged for sales, in addition to methamphetamine. Atul Bakshi, 46, of Modesto, was arrested on multiple drug related charges.
On March 12, officers attempted to stop a rider performing a wheelie on an electric motorcycle without a helmet along East Avenue, according to the Livermore Police Department. The rider, identified as 19-year-old Jean Rincon Landeata, allegedly fled from officers through an apartment complex before being taken into custody.

Landeata was arrested on multiple charges, including evading a peace officer with wanton disregard for safety and reckless driving.
