Livermore Library To Host Living Room Conversation On Forgiveness

Livermore Public Library will host its third Living Room Conversation, a guided interactive community discussion on forgiveness, on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This program will be held via Zoom. Space is limited and registration is required. To register, please call (925) 373-5505. Registered participants will receive a Zoom link prior to the event.
Forgiving wrongs--intentional, unintentional, historic, big and small--is not a simple thing. For many people, forgiveness can be challenging. There are many ways that individuals are hurt by others and vice versa. How individuals manage those hurts is a key part of shaping their lives internally and externally. How can forgiveness help individuals to become the person they want to be?

During the program, hosted by Librarian Paul Sevilla, participants will talk about the topic in three rounds of conversation. During each round, participants will select from a set of questions designed to encourage dialogue. Living Room Conversations is a non-profit organization formed in 2010 that provides an easy structure for engaging, friendly yet meaningful conversations.
