Livermore Man Points AR-15 At Garage Camera: Police

Two men allegedly carrying guns in a Livermore parking garage were arrested on numerous drugs and weapon charges, police said.

LIVERMORE, CA — A Livermore resident was arrested after allegedly pointing an AR-15 at a parking garage camera, in addition to numerous other charges, according to the Livermore Police Department.

On Jan. 5, Livermore police received information about individuals displaying firearms inside the elevator at the Railroad Avenue parking structure, police said. One pointed an AR-15 at a camera, while another had a handgun with an extended magazine.

Investigators identified the suspects as 18-year-old Austin Johnson and 26-year-old Damarea Fowlermclane, both of Livermore, and obtained search and arrest warrants. Police said that search warrants led to the recovery of illegal firearms, ammunition, narcotics for sale, and cash. Police say they made multiple other arrests, including against individuals with outstanding felony warrants. An additional suspect was arrested Feb. 3 in the city of Alameda.
