Livermore Thrives With Amgen Tour
America's version of Tour de France bicycle race helps put Livermore on the map.
Stage 4 of the Amgen Tour of California bicycle race kicked off in town Wednesday before zipping toward San Jose.
Hundreds of visitors and residents flocked to downtown Livermore to catch a glimpse of the pro cyclers and to participate in pre-race festivities, including a survivor walk and a surprise flash mob dance performance by U-Jam Fitness.
