Popular Music in the Orchard Concert Series Returns

Mark your calendars for evenings in June, July, August and September for the popular Music in the Orchard concert series at the Purple Orchid Wine Country Resort and Spa. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and relax under the olive trees of Livermore's finest resort to enjoy talented musicians while supporting local students.

For the seventh year, the Pedrozzi Foundation is gratefully a beneficiary of the enjoyable concert series presented by the Purple Orchid, Nottingham Cellars, and Posada on Wheels. The Foundation was established by Livermore businessman Mario Pedrozzi, so it is appropriate for local businesses to collaborate in supporting students.

This year’s line-up includes: Wolf Hamlin and The Front Porch Drifters on June 27th, The Michael Beck Band on July 18th, Toree McGee on August 29th, and Crawdad Republic on September 26th.

Awarding winning wines by Nottingham Cellars, beers from local breweries and food by area favorite Posada on Wheels will be available for purchase. No outside food or beverages allowed.

Proceeds from ticket, beverage and food sales support the work of the Pedrozzi Foundation. In addition to awarding scholarships to Livermore students, the Foundation helps create a career- and college- bound culture among all Livermore students. The Foundation recently awarded $443,500 in scholarships to 115 local students and welcomed the fourth cohort of Pedrozzi Young Scholars. Learn more at Pedrozzi.org.

The concerts often sell out, so purchasing tickets in advance is recommended. Tickets are $18 in advance, $20 at the door or only $60 for the four-concert series.
