Update: East Bay Roads Closed By Mudslides, Flooding, Fallen Trees
Many roads have reopened.

EAST BAY, CA - Several East Bay roads are either closed or the county has issued warnings because of standing water, according to the Alameda County Public Works Agency.
Here's the list of closures and restrictions:
- Palomares Road is CLOSED to all traffic between Palo Verde Road in Castro Valley and Niles Canyon Road (Highway 84) in Fremont, due to mudslides and localized flooding.
- Kilkare Road has reopened. It was closed earlier due to mudslides and localized flooding.
- Crow Canyon Road has reopened. It was closed earlier due to mudslides and localized flooding.
- Niles Canyon Road has reopened after Alameda Creek overflowed, sending two feet of water and debris onto the roadway.
- Norris Canyon Road is open. It had mud and water on the roadway earlier.
- Foothill Road in Pleasanton is open. It had mud or debris on the roadway earlier.
Law enforcement agencies have reported multiple crashes today on wet roads. It's highly recommended that drivers stay extra alert. An unexpected rock slide or downed tree could be just around the corner.
