Vegetation Fire On Altamont Pass Wednesday Extinguished

LIVERMORE, CA — A vegetation fire that broke out along I-580 in the area of North Flynn and Carroll roads in Livermore Wednesday night has been extinguished. The blaze was reported at 4:44 p.m., according to the Pulsepoint phone application.
Smoke from the fire covered sections of I-580 during the evening commute. Alameda County Fire crews worked for more than two hours out to contain the fire. No other information is available.
