1 Dead, 2 Injured After Shooting In Long Beach: Police
Detectives are investigating the incident and police expect to release additional information later Monday, they said.
LONG BEACH, CA — One man died and two were injured in connection with a shooting Sunday night in Long Beach, according to police.
The men were involved in an altercation around 7:15 p.m. near 29th Street and Chestnut Avenue, police said. The conflict escalated, resulting in shots fired, according to police, who said the men were taken to hospitals, where one died.
Detectives are investigating the incident and police expect to release additional information later Monday, authorities said.
