2 Hospitalized After Violence At Marina del Rey Apartment Complex: Reports

MARINA DEL REY, CA — Two men were hospitalized following a stabbing Friday morning in Marina del Rey, according to reports.

Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies responded at about 9:38 a.m. to the 4000 block of Via Marina after receiving a report of a stabbing, KTLA reported, citing the Marina del Rey Sheriff's Station.

Deputies found one man suffering from a stab wound and another man with injuries to his head, according to KTLA. Sheriff's officials told the station that the second man had not been stabbed.

Both men were taken to a hospital. Their conditions were not immediately available.

Fox 11 identified the scene as the Pearl apartment complex at 4111 Via Marina. Aerial footage aired by the station showed sheriff's vehicles and crime scene tape outside the complex.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department transported two adult men from the scene. One of those men may have been the suspect, as sheriff's authorities said they had taken the suspect into custody, Fox 11 reported.

Authorities have not released the identities of the victims or suspect or said what led up to the violence.

The investigation remained ongoing Friday.
