49ers Fan In A Coma Following Attack At SoFi Stadium
Daniel Luna, a 40-year-old restauranteur is in a medically induced coma after he was beaten in the stadium parking lot during the Rams game.

INGLEWOOD, CA — A San Francisco 49ers fan is in a medically-induced coma today after being beaten outside SoFi Stadium following Sunday's NFC championship game.
Daniel Luna is fighting for his life at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center after suffering from wounds to his face and upper body in the stadium parking lot. Authorities have not publicly identified any suspects nor a motive for the attack, which did not appear to be robbery. The assault evoked memories of past violence involving Northern California and Southern California sports fans including the 2011 beating of San Francisco Giants fan Bryan Stow in a Dodger Stadium parking lot that left him with brain damage as well as the 2019 beating of Dodgers fan as he face-timed his wife.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Luna, 40, of Oakland, was found in the Parking Lot L at SoFi Stadium at 4 p.m. Sunday. His injuries were consistent with an assault.

Vernon Hill, a friend of Luna's from Oakland who is in touch with his family, told The Times Luna still had his watch, wallet and phone when taken to the hospital, suggesting robbery was not a motive. Police told The Times they could not confirm those details.
Luna, who owns a Peruvian fusion restaurant in Oakland, flew to Los Angeles and attended the game alone after other fans who were to accompany him canceled, The Times reported.
